Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt butter; remove from heat.
    Add firmly packed brown sugar; mix well.
    Cool slightly.
    Add egg and vanilla; blend.
    Add flour, a small amount at a time, mixing well.
    Spread in a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
