Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vegetable shortening
    1 stick margarine
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and margarine with sugars.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift together the dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    Stir in flavoring and nuts.
    Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
