Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. sugar, divided
    3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. sliced peaches
Preparation
    Melt butter in bottom of 2-quart pan or baking dish.
    Combine 1 cup sugar and flour. Add milk and stir until mixed well.
    Pour over butter in baking dish, but do not stir. Combine peaches and remaining sugar (1 cup) and spoon over batter.
    Do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
