Chocolate Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
    7 oz. shredded coconut
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 egg whites, beaten with 1/2 c. sugar until stiff peaks form
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In double boiler, over simmering water, melt chocolate.
    Stir in coconut, salt and almond extract.
    Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 12 minutes until set.
    Remove from oven immediately and let cool.
