Pot Roast Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. roasting chicken
    bread stuffing
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. fat
    2 small onions
    1/2 c. boiling water
    6 potatoes, peeled
Preparation
    Clean, stuff and tie chicken.
    Season, flour lightly and brown in fat in Dutch oven.
    Place onions around chicken.
    Add 1/2 cup water.
    Cover and cook until tender, putting potatoes in the last hour.
    Serves 6.
