Apple-Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. red maraschino cherries, sliced
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    3 medium apples, cored, peeled and diced
    1/2 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Combine cooked rice,
    pineapple, marshmallows and sugar in a bowl.
    Toss gently to
    mix and refrigerate 3 hours.
    Fold in apples, cherries and
    dates.
    Then\tfold
    in whipped cream. Chill 1 more hour.
    Yield:
    18 servings.
