Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 carrots
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 bay seal (leaf)
    soup bones or beef short ribs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    potatoes to taste
Preparation
    Place soup bone, water, salt, pepper, carrots, celery, potatoes, onions and bay leaf into slow cooking pot.
    Cover and cook at setting 3 for 6 to 7 hours.
    Remove soup bone and cool slightly.
    Remove meat from bones and return to soup with tomatoes. Cover and slow cook an additional hour.
    Noodles may be added. Makes 6 servings.
