Ingredients

1 c. melted shortening
4 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. or less salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients, then next 2 ingredients.
Sift next 4 ingredients and then mix together
with previous ingredients. Shape into a roll and refrigerate.
Cut 1/4-inch thick.
Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Makes 8 dozen.
