Continental Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak, cut in strips
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 (1 3/8 oz.) envelope dry onion soup mix
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Brown steak in butter. Add mushrooms. Stir in soup mix and flour. Add milk and water. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Cover and cook on low heat for 45 minutes. Stir twice while cooking.
Blend in sour cream.
Heat through. Do not boil.
Serve over rice or noodles.
