Chili Sauce Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 lb. tomatoes, scalded and peeled
    3 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 doz. green peppers, chopped
    18 onions, chopped
Preparation
    Simmer all ingredients for 3 or 4 hours.
    \"Can\" like tomatoes. (Place in sterile canning jars, seal and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.)
    Great with scrambled eggs, chicken or fish.
