Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
5 to 6 bananas, mashed
2 tsp. vanilla
8 Tbsp. buttermilk
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Mix shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add bananas.
Mix flour and soda.
Add buttermilk and mix well.
Add nuts.
Place in 4 floured and greased pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until tests done to touch.
