Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    2 Tbsp. peanut butter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. cream
    1 baked pie shell
    topping
Preparation
    Mix egg yolks with cream.
    Add sugar, flour, salt, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Stir into hot milk and cook, while stirring, over medium heat until thickened.
    Pour into baked pie shell. Spread with meringue (2 egg whites beaten stiff with 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar), Cool Whip or whipped cream.
    You can use graham cracker crust, chocolate or regular pie shell.
