Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    28 wrapped caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine cake mix and softened butter.
    Mix according to directions\ton
    box.
    Pour\t1/2
    of
    batter
    into greased 13 x 9-inch
    pan.
    Bake\tat
    350\u00b0 in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Melt
    the
    caramels
    with
    1/2 cup evaporated milk.
    Pour over baked layer.
    Top
    with
    1\tcup
    chopped
    pecans and the 1 cup chocolate chips.
    Pour on rest of batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30\tminutes.
    Does\tnot need a frosting, but any chocolate frosting will make it even richer.
