Hot Dogs In Hot Pants - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hot dogs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. chilli powder
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. crumbled shoestring potatoes
Preparation

Heat hot dogs in water.
Dry thoroughly before dipping in batter.
Blend all ingredients except potatoes for about 20 seconds, then beat vigorously for about 1 minute.
Stir in potatoes.
Heat fat or oil in deep fryer to 375\u00b0.
Insert wooden skewers into one end of hot dog or hold with tongs.
Dip first into cornmeal mixture, then into the hot oil.
Cook about 1 minute or until batter is lightly browned.
