Apricot Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dried apricots
2 Tbsp. soft butter
1 c. water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soak apricots for 30 minutes in enough warm water to cover; drain.
Cut in quarters with scissors.
Mix butter, sugar and egg together thoroughly.
Stir in water and orange juice.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; stir in.
Add chopped nuts and apricots.
