Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer or 8 wings
    2 onions, chopped
    1/3 to 1/2 pkg. frozen vegetable gumbo mix
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 to 3 carrots, chopped
    approximately 1/2 c. rice
    1 large can tomatoes or qt., chopped
    extra okra (if desired)
    approximately 3 1/2 qt. broth and water
    pepper and seasoning (Mrs. Dash or lemon pepper may be substituted)
    bell pepper, cabbage and shrimp (optional)
Preparation
    Cook chicken in plenty of water. Cool and pick off bones (if whole fryer is used, this is enough for 2 recipes).
    Put broth in large pan and add other ingredients.
    Cook on low for about 1 hour.
