Mom'S Soft Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix all the dry ingredients.
    Add molasses, eggs, and soda-hot water mixture slowly.
    Stir but do not beat.
    Bake in floured and greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Nice and moist.
