Me Ma'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sour cream
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter, add sugar and egg yolks.
    Sift flour three times with salt and soda and add alternately with sour cream.
    Add flavoring and fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in greased and lightly floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    This is a family favorite.
