Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) can (2/3 c.) evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1/2 lb. (about 22) marshmallows, quartered
    1/2 c. broken pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, combine the first 4 ingredients.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil 5 minutes; stir constantly. Remove from heat; immediately add chocolate bits and marshmallow bits.
    Stir until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
    Spread into a buttered 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool; cut into squares.
