Bran Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda (put in buttermilk)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. bran cereal
1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. nuts
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix baking soda in buttermilk.
Set aside.
Combine flour, salt and sugar.
Stir in egg, molasses and buttermilk.
Blend well. Add bran, raisins and nuts.
Place in well-greased loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
