Cranberry Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh cranberries
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    3/4 tsp. each: cinnamon and cloves
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook berries 15 minutes in 3/4 cup water in covered pan. Force through a sieve.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook 12 to 15 minutes or until it thickens.
    Serve warm on ham, pork or turkey or store in a jar in refrigerator.
    Also excellent for a dip for little smoky links.
