Fresh Strawberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. fresh ripe strawberries, washed and hulled
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 Tbsp. Amaretto liqueur
Preparation
    Puree the strawberries in a food processor or blender until smooth.
    Strain in a bowl through a sieve lined with cheesecloth to remove the seeds.
    Combine the puree with the remaining ingredients.
    Cover and chill.
    Makes 2 cups.
