Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. melted oleo
Preparation
    Mix and sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Stir in corn meal.
    Add milk to beaten egg and stir into first mixture. Add oleo and blend.
    Turn into greased 8-inch pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
