Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 large onions, sliced
    1 large green bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1 or 2 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. tomatoes
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large skillet, stir and cook meat, onions and green bell pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper.
    Heat through; pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover; bake 1 hour.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
