Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    12 oz. grated American cheese
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 onion (small), chopped
Preparation
    Place thawed potatoes in 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Mix next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes.
    Top with 2 cups crushed corn flakes and drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter over that.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
