Crispy Marshmallow Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 1/2 c. Kroger crispy rice cereal
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat; blend in vanilla.
    In large bowl, add mixture to cereal; stir to coat.
    Spread into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool completely.
    Cut into bars.
    Yields 24 bars.
