Parmesan Breadsticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of the flour, the Parmesan cheese and yeast.
    In saucepan, heat milk, shortening, sugar and salt just until warm (115\u00b0 to 120\u00b0), stirring constantly to melt shortening.
    Add to dry mixture in mixing bowl.
    Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl constantly.
    Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
    By hand, stir in enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough.
    Shape into a ball.
    Place in lightly greased bowl, turning once to grease surface.
