Easy Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla or French vanilla pudding (not instant)
    1 (15 oz.) can peaches or fruit cocktail
    1 tall can chunk pineapple
    1 large banana
    12 marshmallows
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    12 cherries, cut in half
Preparation
    Take juice from all three cans of fruit and add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups.
    Cook juice with pudding.
    Cool completely, then add drained fruit and refrigerate.
