Cream Of Green Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sausage
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 c. tomato juice
    2 potatoes, pared and diced
    1 qt. water
    1/2 lb. green beans (fresh)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut sausage into 1-inch pieces and brown.
    Add onion.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Pour off fat.
    Add tomato juice, potatoes, water and beans which have been cut into inch-long pieces.
    Simmer 15 minutes or until tender.
    Add flour which has been stirred to a smooth paste with milk.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Season and serve.
