Old Fashion Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry for double crust
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
dash of salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
8 tart apples (such as Granny Smith)
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Line pie plate with pastry and fill with peeled, thinly sliced apples (pile high in center).
Mix cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.
Dot with butter; moisten edges of crust with water.
Fit top crust and seal edges.
Make vents or lay top crust in lattice strips over the apples and filling.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 1 hour.
