Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
    1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 clove chopped fine garlic
    2 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper
    3 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
    1 small can pimento (optional)
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 1/2 ??? sharp Cheddar cheese (block cheese)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, adding eggs, cornmeal and cheese last. Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
    Makes approximately 18 muffins (grease well) or can be cooked in large iron skillet.
