Mushroom Sauce(Served On Christmas Eve Over Varenyky-Pyrohy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried mushrooms
    1 1/2 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 stick butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour (full)
    1/2 c. cold water
    1/2 c. mushroom stock
Preparation
    Rinse dried mushrooms and soak about 5 to 10 minutes in enough water to cover.
    Chop mushrooms and put in 1 quart saucepan.
    Add cold water to cover, about 2 to 3 inches from the top of the mushrooms.
    Cover; bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and add fresh chopped mushrooms.
    Cook about 1 hour until soft.
