Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. dark molasses
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, egg and molasses until creamy.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll balls into sugar.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or roll dough out and use cookie cutter. Decorate with vanilla frosting.
