Hawaiian Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. cream
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. powdered ginger
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cream, butter and ginger.
    Boil to soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    Cool to lukewarm; add vanilla and beat until creamy.
    Add pineapple and nuts.
    Spread on oiled surface to harden.
    When hard, break into pieces.
    Enjoy!
