Ortega Huevos Rancheros - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) can green chile salsa (mild)
    4 corn tortillas
    oil or lard
    4 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 c. mild Cheddar cheese or Jack, grated
Preparation
    Heat salsa in saucepan.
    In
    skillet quickly fry tortillas in oil until soft.
    Remove
    and
    keep warm.
    In skillet fry eggs in butter or oleo until white are set, but yolks are soft. Place tortillas on baking sheet and
    set
    one fried egg on each tortilla.
    Spoon salsa over eggs
    and
    sprinkle
    cheese on top. Slide baking sheet under broiler
    to
    melt cheese until bubbly. Serve immediately on warmed plates.
    Serves 4.
