Chile Rellenos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large green chiles
    8 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    16 oz. Cheddar cheese
    8 egg whites
    1/4 c. flour
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut cheese into slices to fit inside of chiles.
    In small bowl, beat egg yolks and water slightly.
    Add flour and salt. Beat 6 minutes on high speed until thick.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
    Fold yolks into whites.
    Heat 1/2-inch oil to 375\u00b0.
    Spoon batter into oil (the length of chili); top with chile (with cheese inside).
    As batter sets, cover with more batter. When bottom is brown, turn and brown top side.
    Serves 6 to 8.
