Mom'S Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. vinegar
5 heaping tsp. sugar
1 level tsp. salt
1 small Texas Pete hot pepper
Preparation

Sterilize jar.
Have lid boiling for a few minutes.
Put vinegar, sugar and salt in saucepan.
Get mixture hot.
Place cucumbers in hot mixture to warm.
Pack cucumbers in jar firm.
Put pepper on top.
Pour boiling mixture over cucumbers.
(Cover with boiling mixture.)
Wipe jar top clean.
Put lid on tight.
Process in hot bath for 5 minutes.
