Easy Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. water
    2 c. flour
    1 level tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. spices
Preparation
    Boil the raisins, sugar, shortening and 1 cup water for 3 minutes; let cool.
    Add the flour, soda, salt and spices.
    Bake in very slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until pulls from sides of pan, in a 9-inch square greased pan.
