Elk Mincemeat - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. ground cooked meat
1/2 lb. suet
6 lb. chopped tart apples
2 lb. seedless raisins
2 lb. currants
2 (No. 2) cans crushed pineapple
3 c. white sugar
3 c. brown sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 qt. meat broth
2 qt. sweet cider
2 Tbsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt
1 Tbsp. cloves
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook 1 1/2 hours.
Seal in glass jars.
Makes 10 quarts.
