Dutch Apple Pudding(Heart Healthy - Fat-Free) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole wheat bread crumbs
    1 c. very warm skim milk
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar or 1 tsp. sugar substitute
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 large peeled apple, cut up very small
    1/2 c. drained pineapple tidbits
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Pour warm milk in bowl, stir in sugar or substitute, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour this over bread crumbs and let soak.
