Cream Of Broccoli And Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small bunch broccoli
    1/2 lb. (approximately) fresh mushrooms
    1 small onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 can clear chicken broth
    1 pt. half and half or whole milk
Preparation
    Cut broccoli in small pieces and steam in small amount of water (do not overcook).
    Saute mushrooms and chopped onion together in butter (do not brown).
    Add the flour as if to make gravy, then add chicken broth and cook until thickens.
    Add broccoli and slowly add half and half.
    Let simmer a short time to blend.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
