A Sweet Bird - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken, cut into serving pieces
    1 (8 oz.) bottle red Russian salad dressing
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
Preparation
    Dry chicken with paper towel.
    Mix other ingredients and dip pieces in to coat well.
    Place chicken in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
    Baste once or twice.
