Ken'S Beer Battered Fish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. buttermilk baking mix
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 large egg (separated and room temperature)
1 (12 oz.) can beer
several pieces fish
Preparation

Mix in a large bowl buttermilk baking mix, onion powder and garlic powder.
Stir in egg yolk and beer until blended.
Beat egg white with mixer until stiff with rubber spatula.
Fold into batter.
Moisten fish with water and dip fish into batter.
Deep fry in hot oil until lightly browned.
