Mrs. Tom Harvey'S Date Meringues(Cornerstone Cookery) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    whites of 3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Flour nuts and dates to keep them from sticking together.
    Mix all.
    Pour into a greased pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cut into squares while warm.
    Cool and serve with whipped cream.
