Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 (3 oz.) can coconut
    1 box German chocolate cake mix, prepared according to pkg. directions
    1 stick margarine
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 box powdered sugar
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan. Sprinkle coconut over pecans.
    Prepare cake mix.
    Pour over pecans and coconut.
    Melt margarine and cream cheese together; add powdered sugar and mix well.
    Pour mixture over cake batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Cut into squares and serve.
    Yield:
    24 servings.
