Beef Barley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
    3-1/2 lb. Stew Beef
    1 large Onion, chopped
    4 qt. Water
    4 Tbsp. Instant Beef Bouillon
    1-1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
    1 lb. Baby Carrots, cut in thirds
    1-1/2 c. Barley (not instant)
    2 Potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Preparation
    In dutch oven, cook Beef in Olive Oil until no red shows. Add the finely chopped Onion; cooking for about 15 minutes. Add Water, Bouillon and Garlic Powder; bringing to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer (medium-low).
