Sweet Sour Cabbage Slaw(From The Files Of Ola Dortch Williams) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    1 small onion, sliced into rings
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Boil vinegar and oil until it comes to a boil; add sugar and remaining seasons.
    Stir until sugar dissolves.
    Pour hot mixture over cabbage and onion.
    Cover and chill overnight.
    Keeps a long time in refrigerator.
