Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1 1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour*
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 stick oleo or butter
1 can coconut
1/4 c. canned cream
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 can pecans

Preparation

*Add 1 teaspoon salt and one teaspoon soda if using plain flour.
