Seafoam Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    a little water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cook sugar and water to make a syrup.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add cooked mixture slowly to egg whites, beating constantly.
    Add vanilla and cream of tartar.
    Spread on cake.
