Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef cubes
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    2 c. beef broth
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    5 c. water
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) Hunt's sauce
    5 cut up potatoes
    1 small rutabaga, diced
Preparation
    Cook and stir beef in oil in Dutch oven over medium heat until brown.
    Stir in broth, pepper and salt; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender.
    Stir in water, carrots, potatoes, rutabaga and tomato sauce.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 40 minutes until tender.
